NCIS casts and CBS have salary disputes
The hit CBS TV series ‘NCIS’ is facing a problem with its casts. There have been an alleged issue about their contracts and the pay they get as to per episode.

Most of the cast of NCIS will have their contracts ending this year and it seems that the stars are hesitant to sign for another contract with the show due to the dispute regarding their per-episode take home pay.
David McCallum, an original member of the quarter, had made arrangement with the CBS TV Studios. David McCallum has contributed a lot to the high ratings of the show.
Mark Harmon, star of NCIS and a producer of the said show said in an interview that people come and go in any type of job, and their job is not an exception.

According to reports, the dispute is about the per pay episode of the three stars. It is said that their per episode take home if fixed at $100,000 per episode. This is very low compared to other stars’ take home pay from other shows with the same high ratings. Even stars of not so highly rated shows are getting more than what they are getting. Even Harmon only gets $300,000 per episode as his per-episode take home pay.
To date the highest paid actor in TV series is Charlie Sheen who is getting $1.2 million per episode take home pay in “Two and a Half Men”. Another hit TV series star, Hugh Laurie of “House”, is getting more than $400,000 per episode pay. William Petersen, former CSI head, is earning $600,000 per episode. 24’s Kiefer Sutherland on the other hand is taking home $500,000 per episode.
This makes the stars of NCIS get frustrated of how little they are taking home. CBS is the most watched network in 2009-2010. NCIS has been the leading seven other shows based on the 10 most watched shows in television in this year.

Well if they dont like their minimum salry of 100k per episode, they could always quit and perhaps get a job in the real world and maybe if there extremely lucky get a job that pays 100k per year and deal with all the bullshit & politics that comes with it…
after all , besides looking ‘pretty on the screen’ what can they actually do ?
Millionaires all. I have no sympathy.
