Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon)
Leroy Jethro Gibbs – Portrayed by actor Mark Harmon, Leroy Jethro Gibbs is a fictional character of the CBS television police procedural series “NCIS”. It was never revealed throughout the season as to what exactly is the age of Leroy, but in an episode entitled “Heartland” it was revealed that Leroy originated from Stillwater in Pennsylvania. Named after a colleague of his father who works in Air Force, Leroy Jethro previously worked as a Military Police and a Marine Scout Sniper. Leroy’s personality is portrayed as someone who is a skilled organizer, someone who is demanding and is much disciplined. These traits usually put him in a situation where he clashes with other authorities, especially when it is with regards to exerting effort to his team.

Born on September 2, 1951, Mark Harmon is a veteran in both film and television programs since the 70’s. The American actor used to play for UCLA Bruins as a football player before he pursued his career in acting. He started portraying the role of Leroy Jethro Gibss in the fictional police procedural series entitled “NCIS” since 2003. Harmon’s other notable portrayal includes the series “West Wing” where he received a nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor for Drama Series back in 2002. He was also nominated for his portrayal in “Reasonable Doubts”, “Chicago Hope”, and his latest project “NCIS”.

Gibbs believes that they will be at the guard’s funeral, and the team captures them both.
