Despite ourselves, as we chomp at the bit for the very dislikable lawyer Allison Hart, the on screen chemistry begs the question. Is there the possibility of some romance between Hart and Gibbs (Mark Harmon)? Or is there a twist waiting around the corner that we won’t see until it slaps us in the face. Even the cast, when asked, are unsure where they will end up with their characters. The emphases this session seems to be focused on a deeper understanding of their characters and families. Yes once again they know what it takes to keep us watching.

Executive producer of NCIS Shane Brennan, talks a little about this week’s episode. This will “set in motion a chain of events that forces Gibbs to make a life-changing decision,” He further adds that this “will impact every member of his team.” Makes you wonder if this has to do with any of the hints Brennan has given us about the powerful season 7 final. “I’m a great believer in planning it out and knowing where we’re going to land,” He went on to say: “The audience has already seen some of the elements – we’ve already started the finale in a way. You won’t see it in every episode, but we’ll tease it out. It’ll be surprising, and this year it’s going to be controversial.” We are sure its going to be interesting judging by last season’s finale which was a nail biter to say the least.

As in session finales pasts NCIS has incorporated parts of season 7 finale through out the whole of the season leaving us a bread crumb trail to follow for those of us with keen eyesight, and for the rest of us, to keep guessing.

While fans debate over what’s to come they all agree hearing the words, “No Triva-centrcity” is a good thing. While we all agree season 6 finale was outstanding, however a repeat of the same type of plot would trivialize this season’s finale. Brennan understands this better then most and is sure to thrill us again.

You won’t see it in every episode, but we’ll tease it out. It’ll be surprising, and this year it’s going to be controversial.”

So fear not ant let the debates rage on about which clues NCIS has used and the direction the show will go in.

Gena Rowlands with play as the mother-in-law that brings very unpleasant memories of Gibb’s love life best forgotten in the present day setting. Gena Rowlands is a 3 times Emmy winner and with 2 Golden Globes under her belt we are sure she will bring a very powerful and stunning performance to the show.

Leann Hunley’s roll will be set back in 1980’s as the younger Joanna for the flashbacks. Lean Hunley has several wards of her own. The Most recent is Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She is well Know for her recurring roll as Anna DiMera on Days of our Lives.

The two will help shed light on the root cause of the animosity between Joanna and Gibbs.

Hunely talked about the up coming role. “You will see that Joann is very angry at Gibbs for taking her daughter and grandchild away from her when his job is relocated. The move even led to the murder of Gibbs’ family by a Mexican drug dealer.

Hunley also confess to being a fan of Rowlands. “When I first saw her in ‘A Woman Under the Influence’, I thought, ‘That woman looks like me! She has my eyes!’” she goes on to say. “Ever since, it’s been my secret wish that I might play her some day. But, seriously, what were the chances?”

Hunley has often seen herself as the “Rowlands type” and the spot on NCIS is the perfect role. We think so to.

On the death of a Marine the Fornell, Gibbs and the team hit the road to bring down an illegal trucking operation.

Ziva will answer that it is not a vacation and then Tony will look at her straight and tell her that the day is beautiful.

Ziva will ask if there’s something wrong with Tony that he is in the good man and Tony explains that last night he slept well and ask Ziva if she also does because she looks comfy enough.

Afterwards they hop on the motorbike of Tony after they exchange knowing smiles.

That would leave the question if there is something happen between the two of them. According to Shane Brennan the executive producer of the NCIS, he believes it does but he will be living the Jetlag episode to answer it. He adds that he do not want to be specific more than that and that the public should watch out the episode and start reading between the lines.

Interpretation of the lines includes reading a lot of clues that in non-verbal from the two of them and assuming that there is something that happen is easier. Aside from the fact that Ziva said to the witness that on the couch is where she have slept as well as Tony tells McGee, who was played by Sean Murray about him slept on the same couch, and then both of them admit to one another that they lied so it could mean that no one of them slept on the said couch.

The way they smile widely and look knowingly with each other on the motorbike and their defensiveness that is overzealous tells a story. It seems that there is a little something that going on. There is a statement of Tony whereas he said that he thinks that Ziva was changed by Paris.

However, there is also a thing such as over-reading.

Nonetheless, there is something that tells me that this whole saga in Paris will be visited again in episodes of NCIS in the future.

The team goes on a race against time when a terrorist threatens to deploy a dirty bomb in the D.C. area.

After Tony and Ziva escorted a whistleblower back to the states after going to Paris, they had to share a room after running into hotel problems. Ziva, according to what she told the witness, slept on the couch.

However, when Tony told McGee he slept on the couch, the two quickly found themselves in sort of a predicament. Considering that we never truly find out the truth, I am hoping there will someday be a later episode that reveals the actualities of the matter.

I also enjoy the fact that these two characters, which have strictly had a ‘hate’ relationship, could now have a ‘love-hate’ relationship. The fact that they may have even slept in the same bed could allow for some unwanted attention towards the fact that they can actually tolerate one another, to say the least.

Ziva states that she slept on the sofa because Tony was complaining about his sore back, later Tony reveals to McGee that they tossed a coin in which Tony lost and had to spend the night on the sofa. When Ziva asked Tony as to why he lied to McGee he in turn asks her why she lied to the witness.

The question is, however, will this situation of Tony and Zina being in not only one of the most romantic cities o the world, but more specifically, a shared hotel room, lead to anything concrete, or will it simply be a tease to both the characters and NCIS fans?

Another important part of this plot is the fact that now NCIS followers will question their ability to stand each other. Perhaps even the desire to again pursue one another. Which leads to the next question, is there a future for Tony and Zina to be together in future episodes of the season?

But if we remember it right, this is the same thing he said regarding the season 6 closer: the Tiva fans would love it, and we all know what happened in that stretch.

Although there are many aspects of the episode that lean towards a future romance, we must remember that the closure of season six had a similar outlook: though Tiva fans had been infatuated with it, we all know the outcome of that stretch.

Regardless of the outcome, will this Paris romance lead to the start of a major Tiva comeback?

According to reports , the role of this ‘upscale’ mother-in-law will be played by three-time Emmy winner Gene Rowlands. Sure Gibbs’ tough character can handle some unwanted recollection of his past, which will be shed by mother-in-law Joanna, but what about the potential reoccurrence of her character? Can Gibbs endure this unwanted attention forced upon him by the mother of an ex-wife?

In 2004, Rowlands received a satellite award for best supporting actress in the ever-popular hit, The Notebook. Her awards also include, but are not limited to Oscar, Golden Globe, and Emmy nods including her Emmy award for outstanding lead actress in The Betty Ford Story, Face of a Stranger, and Hysterical Blindness.
