Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette)
Abby Sciuto – portrayed by actress Pauley Perrette, Abigail Sciuto, or commonly known as Abby, is a fictional character in the police procedural CBS series “NCIS”. Abby first appeared on the episodes of the television series “JAG” with episode entitled “Meltdown” and “IceQueen” which somehow served as the introduction of the series “NCIS”. Abby is part of the Naval Crime Investigative Service group led by Leroy Gibbs. The forensic specialist is a master of various areas of the criminal field, some of which include ballistics, DNA analysis, and digital forensics. Abby has been described as a “paradox in oxymoron wrap” by his colleague Agent Tony DiNozzo in an episode entitled “Truth or Consequences”. Abby is particularly an icon of gothic clothing style and is very enthusiastic with her work.
Pauley Perrette was born on March 27, 1969. The American actress is a published writer who is best known for her portrayal of Special Agent Abby Sciuto in the police procedural series “NCIS”. Raised in the southern part of US, Perrette is an advocate of the civil rights who studied criminology in Valdosta State University. Perrette started her television careers by accepting commercial projects and doing voice over and music videos. She also worked as a bartender in New York City. Perrette’s other projects include “JAG”, “The Ring” and “Almost Famous”.
